BATTLE OF THE BOOKS (BOB):

The Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Battle of the Books is a district-wide reading competition for students in grades 3-12. It encourages reading and friendly competition by having students form teams to study and answer questions about specific books. The competition culminates in a final "battle" where teams compete based on their knowledge of the books.
